March 2026 - At a Glance
March 2026 mixed hard diplomacy with big multilateral moments. India hosted MILAN-2026, a multilateral naval exercise with an International Fleet Review at Visakhapatnam. The WTO's 14th Ministerial Conference in Cameroon ended without agreement, letting a long-standing e-commerce duty pause lapse. In the neighbourhood, Nepal got its youngest-ever Prime Minister, and Canada's PM made the first bilateral India visit since 2018.

2. International Organisations & Trade
- WTO 14th Ministerial (MC14) - Yaounde, Cameroon — The World Trade Organization's 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14) ended inconclusively (Mar 2026). The e-commerce customs-duty moratorium (in place since 1998) lapsed, and India opposed extending it, arguing developing nations lose revenue.
